Why I Read Books....

I wasn't always a reader.  Somewhere in my 30's I found a book I enjoyed.  I don't remember the book but I went to the library to get another!  I read books because I can use my imagination.  I can see what the characters look like, what the scenery is like and I can feel their emotions.

I can learn things through books, like new words that improve my vocabulary.  I can learn how people live.  I can visit other far off places of the world and experience what is going on and feel the excitement, anticipation, and emotions.

The most wonderful thing about books is talking to others about what you have read.

Go to your local library and see what they have.  They are staffed with knowledgeable people to help you find something that may interest you.  ENJOY!    -( anonymous )
